MAURICE SENDAK

A.A. MILNE Winnie the Pooh, but sadly it's so Disneyfied now.

Graphic Novels and Comics
(check out Another Universe.)

In the past two years, I've picked up Birds of Prey, Resurrection Man, X/1999, Painkiller Jane, Shotgun Mary, The Darkness, and Crimson Plague. I think I'll also add Lenore. While I like the ones I've listed, I've been unsuccessfully searching for a comic to love, like my old favorites. Nothing quite satisfies like them.

ALAN MOORE V for Vendetta, The Watchmen.

FRANK MILLER Elektra, Elektra: Assassin (with Bill Sienkiewicz), The Dark Knight.

BILL SIENKIEWICZ Elektra: Assassin (with Frank Miller), Stray Toasters.

NEIL GAIMAN Sandman.

J.M. DeMATTEIS Moonshadow (with Jon J. Muth), Blood, Greenberg, the Vampire.

JON J. MUTH Moonshadow, M, Dracula: A Symphony of Terror [Mr. Muth also composes classical music, tres cool]

I have a soft spot for poetry. And silly poetry's even better.
I love this poem about Edna St. Vincent Millay
